late ‘irregular’ Northumbrian Styca, with blundered meaningless legends on both sides. Struck c. 840′s – 850′s AD, perhaps at York obverse (heads) inscription reads: +EADVVLF, around pellet in circle
 reverse (tails) inscription reads: +NAEDAB, retrograde, with some letters reversed, around pellet in circle
