Sutton Bank 1st August 2021
« on: July 03, 2021, 11:36:33 AM »
Many gesiĆ°as will be at the North Yorkshire Moors Visitor Centre on Sutton Bank for an Anglo-Saxon Day on 1st August (11 am - 4 pm) - our first for 2 years because of you-know-what.

We are running this as a socially distanced event, so no hands on crafts or shield wall demo - but we will have a programme of "Ten Minute Talks" and a treasure hunt, as well as displays and becostumed people to chat enthusiastically about our passion for the period. As it's Yorkshire Day we are planning to do teh Yorkshire Declaration in Old and Mdoern English, and we'll have a story time as well.

If anyone is in striking distance of Moors, we would love to say hello :)
