Asking for help! Merry Xmas etc.
« on: December 05, 2013, 04:52:05 PM »
---of course, I DO wish you all a Merry Christmas, but in my last topic I was actually asking for help about how to write my cards to friends and relations.   So, please can anyone give me various suggestions how to wish them  --
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
or even
HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR
but not
Season's Greetings, thanks!

Hi Jayson!

The only way I know to wish a Merry Christmas in OE is:

Glæd Geol and Gesælig Niw Gear!

This is the standard way we gesiþas send season's greetings to one another.

I hope my information will be useful.

Take care!
